Honorary President
Attila Szabó — honorary founding president
Attila Szabó is the founder, former president and honorary founding president of the Respect and Freedom Party (TISZA). He entered public life from the business sector. He continues his contribution to the party’s founding and organisational work by promoting social dialogue and professional cooperation.
Founding the party and engagement in public life
As a key figure in the establishment and early operation of the TISZA Party, he helped build the organisation. As president, he supported the development of the party’s community through nationwide visits and organisational work.
The party entered a new phase in 2024 with Péter Magyar’s arrival and subsequent election as president. Attila Szabó continues his founding role as honorary founding president.
Public engagement and cooperation
His public work focuses on championing issues concerning the future of Hungary and society. His aim is to ensure that communities’ experience, professional proposals and business initiatives receive attention and reach those able to address them meaningfully.
Personal contact, understanding different perspectives and seeking shared solutions play an important role in this work. The Secretariat provides the professional and organisational support for these consultations.
The Presidential Secretariat
The Presidential Secretariat was established at Attila Szabó’s own initiative. It operates independently, outside the party’s organisational structure, and supports his public work.
It connects communities, businesses, professional organisations and decision-makers. It collects issues raised, assists their professional preparation and initiates consultations on possible next steps.
Its key professional areas are energy and cybersecurity. Alongside domestic issues, it also seeks to encourage international exchanges of experience and cooperation.
